Impressions with classroom tools
So, this week module was the first time I had a hard time to
relate with the content from the class to my experiences. As I work in corporate
my experience with other classroom tools is very limited. The classes I took
when I was an undergrad didn’t involve any of the tools we saw this week. So everything
was very new to me.
One of the tools that called my attention was Piazza. At
least the way it is setup for this class, it allows to ask different questions
and creates a sense of community as everyone in the class it’s going through
the same experience. I can definitely see this being used in the classroom as a
way for students to share insights on a topic and allowing others to provide
feedback and this way everyone learns from each other.
It gave me a different perspective on how classrooms now
might be using Web 2.0 tools to interact with their students.
